EDIT EDIT: (Pls. read before you comment!) WOW! There are a lot of you that want this to be continued. Bottomline, I don't think I'm strong enough of a mystery writer to do both these heroes justice - HOWEVER, if someone were able to provide a well-written fic featuring our friends Sherlock and Conan, I'll be the first to draw it!

You've captured the writing style of the manga perfectly, and the narrative feels full and fresh, as if it were extracted from the middle of a comic!
My one criticism: You forgot to show Conan quivering hysterically in his little fanboy boots. ^_^

Personally I think Jimmy/Shinichi would fanboy all the way if Sherlock was real in his universe and he met him.

I'd say he'd fanboy first and be in awe, totally do a doubletake when he finds out Sherlock's a bit of an ass XD, slightly be competitive but ultimately, respects him as a colleague.
This is all moot if Shinichi's ego steps in earlier than I think it should. XD I think Ran would tell him they're much more alike than he thinks!
