Description
Thought I'd show a step-by-step comparison of how I go about creating a colored image when I don't have a lot of time. Some of my new stuff is more painterly, and I try to eliminate the pencils altogether, but occasionally I leave them in if I don't have time to put as much detail as a more painterly piece would demand. This character is the girlfriend of a character in a DnD game I used to run back in Los Angeles.

Awesome character, but she's from DnD? Was the campaign in a more modern setting?

It's a little more advanced than the usual fantasy setting, maybe a few hundred years after what you would imagine a dnd game would be, and I figured with magic and different races, clothing would be varied, and possibly more advanced. I liked the look, so I went with it.
