She was an elf in D&D 3.5, but my game had more of an occult/horror/Lovecraftian flavor to it, so lots of homebrew stuff, which 3.5 was great for.

My friend Travis and I have talked about turning our game into a story, since a lot of really cool stuff happened throughout. It's just such a massive job, and we are both really busy with other projects. But we'd both love to do it if we were able to clone ourselves.

Really nice work. So is this from one of those worlds where evil is like some kind of infection or "loosing your sole" instantly turns you evil?

I have fun throwing undead into my games. She fell while fighting undead, and the others didn't know what happened to her for some time. But she was a pretty powerful character, so she couldn't just die, could she? So she was turned into a vampire and sent after them.

About here dieing, sure she could have just died, people die all the time and nothing happens. About her being sent after them.. Firstly I was assuming that since she was an ally to the heroes she was a good charecter to beggin with. So I was asking if there was some kind of otherworldly force that has turned her evil (like in buffy), been turned evil over time through torture or did the master just send her out on the assumption that she will just do whatever he/she/it sais?

It all had to do with becoming a vampire. She felt compelled to attacked those she was closest to or had the most familiarity with. Also, the group that turned her were enemies of the group, and they knew exactly what would happen if they turned her.

To be honest I'm not really digging into this "transhuman treachery" concept of turning into a Vampire in D&D of course.
