Awhile ago I posted the individual character elements for this piece, but I never put up the finished piece of art. This is what I entered in the Blizzard art contest, but unfortuantely I didn't win. I don't ever really have luck in art contests. I don't know why I keep trying. It only depresses me.Related content

I havent played WOW but I've watched many pictures and screenshots of the game. I LOVED IT! The characters and scenery are extremely detailed and awesome and your work is too, so, I'm faving it

Well, a fully painted, multiple character image with a rendered background is one of the most time consuming types of drawings. Are you sure you want to go that hard-core? Just because of the time commitment alone, I used to charge $500-600, but these days I'd probably do it for $200-250 if it were paid in advance (too many people have left me hanging over the years 
My sketch commissions, like the last 3 deviations I just did, are only $30.

Just let you know with digital painting it makes me want to play my old addiction WoW again lol wondering done and im sorry you didn't win the contest, it looks worthy enough and i dont see why it didn't. oh well but dont let it depress you that you didn't win, can i ask you something though? did you at least have fun making this? if so that is all that counts.

I had a lot of fun making that image. I got to play with Painter, which is a program I don't use a whole lot. I liked it, but had trouble finding where everything was. I know what Photoshop can do, so that's what I usually use.
