I couldn't decide which version I liked better. What do you think?This is one of the many evil creatures from one of my unpublished stories. I realized I don't have enough monsters in my gallery, so I'm going to post a few more over the next few days.
It took somewhere between 3-4 hours to color. It's hard to say, though, because my daughter kept asking me to help her with Super Mario Sunshine, and my wife turned on Serenity so I had to go watch. I swear, I can never get any work done in this house!

Wow, this looks really awesome. I always enjoy a good monster/demon design, and this one's really good. Kinda makes me think of an old iron furnace, or some creature made out of onyx. It looks really great, awesome work!

So long as it doesn't need the flames to live. If he consumes all the oxygen, his fires may go out. But if that sort of thing doesn't kill him, yes, that would be a great tactic.
