Description
After the intense shelling and devastation of the Great War, the era of leather or cloth headwear for infantry was over. Now outfitted with iron and steel helms, each nation had different specifications desired of their head protection.
Karlsland - Stahlhelm: Showing typical Karlsland methods of "over-designing all equipment" the Stahlhelm is 6mm thick steel, using harder metal to make it tougher, but also much heavier and expensive. Still, it is one of the best helmets currently being produced.
Franko-Gaullia - Vizier: The first metal helmet of the Great War, it is a simple, yet reliable design. The biggest advantage being the effortless production, allowing for millions to be crafted.
Polska - Sentry: Designed after the base of the Vizier, but locally produced in Polska.
Volgassia - Westman: Purchasing huge numbers of Vizier helmets, many are still in service almost 30 years after the Great War, though it is only one of many different helmets used by the vast numbers of Volgassian troops.
Vinland - Europa/Tranquility: Described as "One-size-fits-all", it requires an interior liner, similar to that of a hard hat. This allows the helmets interior shape to be fine tuned to the wearer. Comes in two different colors for different theaters of war.
Albion - Snuggy: Originally developed for paratroopers, the "Snuggy" is compact earning it popularity among the other branches of the military, due to low weight and ease of manufacture.
Romalia - Arditi: Designed for greater protection of the sides of the head, due to the sharp limestone fragments thrown by shells in Romalian territories. Has the distinctive goshawk feather denoting mountaineer troops.
