Day 25- Avatar DaySo I noticed this funny little thing about the Avatar cycle, and how it alternates gender as well as nationality. Since Roku and Aang are both male, I figured the Avatar before Yangchen would be female. I know, there's the guy with the funny hat who can bend lava, but we don't *know* where he fits in the timeline. Or this can be a random Fire Avatar, if you prefer. I initially intended her to look younger (and not quite so much like Ursa) but when she came out I figured it would make more sense if this was after she's learned all the elements and come back home to the Fire Nation.

Actually, according to the episode where Roku explains the Avatar state, the unnamed Fire Avatar was the one who preceeded Yangchen. But there were other female Avatars. And I just love this drawing. She looks so pretty.

Yeah, but there's also that male statue next to Roku in the SAT instead of Kyoshi. The creators do make mistakes on occasion

Yes, but the Unnamed Fire Avatar was explained during "The Avatar State" after the creators fixed some of those glaring mistakes. XD But who's to say that there wasn't a female FN avatar before that (or after; that's a distinct possibility in........ several hundred years).
