When you just wanted to draw Daphne's hair.... Mind wanders, you pull in another character, and you let your favorite ship just unfold all over the place cause you can hehe. I'm not the best at writing, but oh well. Don't ask what happened before or after cause I literally just threw this together in just a few hours.I feel like in a real life situation, this kind of thing wouldn't be resolved so easily, but I guess thats the world of fiction. La la land. You can do what you want.
I also do this thing all the time where I just draw the Scooby characters and scenes and just never post them cause, I either don't like how it came out or just lazy haha. But I thought this was cute so why not?

And there’s something that you and :iconmisacedexplorer: does that no other franchise does. And that is putting the gang in mundane situations.
I think most Scooby Doo cartoons rely on solving a mystery which I think should be downplayed.

I mean, I personally like putting the gang in mystery-like situations especially since I like darker scenarios cause there are so many possibilities, however, my mind can get too in depth and sometimes I just never finish pieces But yeah, simple things such as "A Day In the Life..." sheds a nice light to them plus they're easier to think of and bang out.
And I feel if they cut on mysteries, Scooby-Doo wouldn't really be the same. But sure, maybe episodes more on the gang's lives, what they like to do, and maybe take that vacation they were planning without a mystery interrupting it. Things could be pretty balanced.
It's just that the mysteries have the same old cycle. Gang enters a new place, they find out it's haunted, looks like we got a mystery to solve, explore, get chased around, finds one clue, set a trap, Scooby snack, get chased again, villain gets trapped, unmasked, case closed. Even after all these years, still very predictable. It would be great if they switched it up on us.
