This is my workstation where I draw comics, separate from my computer room (to reduce distractions ^_-). As you can see, I'm hard at work on a page from Peach Fuzz volume 2 (pick up the first volume at your local bookstore in the manga section!)
Some of the stuff pictured:
An 11 x 17 sheet of Bristol board with a work-in-progress comic page.
Pencil, erasers, and plenty of rulers.
Reference material! Character and clothing designs in my sketchbook, character turnarounds on the right, and the first volume of Peach Fuzz to ensure consistency in the character art and settings.
And of course, I have a large mirror on display because I'm narcissistic... er, just kidding, it's so I can do poses and facial expressions to help me while I'm drawing. Some inspirational pictures are also posted up (note the cheerleading Lina Inverse to cheer me on, my beloved Utena, and some art by Atsuko Nakajima, among others).

Not a very bad looking work area. I think that I had a desk similar to that one back when I was in high school. You have a bit more tools then what I have as well, since I am limited on space.

im working on a manga as well...with more of the style of the japanese manga..ugh, im not explaining myself, forgive me...
i shall become an american to create a japanese manga..you are my motivation!

where is it that you get 11x17 bristol paper; the closest to that ive seen is 11x15

Actually, that's a typo. The paper is larger - 14"x17" (but I only use the 11"x17" area for the comic page). Art supply stores should carry it.

all i have is a mech pencil, computer paper,any eraser a broken ruler and a comp. book!
wow i feel speacial now! i wanna submit my comic's but the 1st one is faded now and i'm not too fond of some of the pages..... i might have to skip the first one, at least 1/2 of it...it faded over the years i'm up to the 3rd volume but my brothers don't reeally understand what's going on but it has his characters and mine in the same story just my people are their own book and his are their own book.so pretty much two vol.1's for different sides of the story...
