Description
Son of Gaia and Tartarus.Giant of the Abyss.
Born to oppose Ares, but as he was the opposite of the most violent god on Olympus Damasen was a peaceful giant and did not participate in the Gigantomachy.
At birth, Damasen was born with a spear and had a thick, bushy beard that covered his chin. Due to his large stature, he has been described as a "warrior".
When the hero Tylon or Tylus was mortally wounded by a venomous Drakon created by Gaia, his sister Moria appealed to Damasen to avenge her brother. Damasen agreed to avenge Tylus and uprooted a tree from the ground to fight the Drakon. The monster fought back by wrapping itself around Damasen and spitting venom in his face. Despite the attack, the giant threw the serpent away from him and knocked down the tree it held. The tree collided with the beast's head before sinking its roots into the ground, taking the serpent down with it.
As punishment for Drakon's death, using the power of the earth, his mother Gaia opened the earth and threw the giant into the Abyss. In his torment, Damasen was constantly attacked by the Drakon he destroyed in the mortal world. Every "day", the Drakon regenerated and attacked again.
Being an enemy of Ares, Damasen was peaceful and helpful, and spent his life in the mortal world living as a farmer.
