in my mind souls are not the same as brains and bodies, they do not need to grow or learn, they simply are. so once they pass on they can communicate and understand as that sort of thing no longer hinders them.Β

Wouldn't that negate it's loss though? (I imagine that ghosts stick around until they've fulfilled something or have helped their haunting target through something)

I mean? it wouldn't want to do it often, and she can't hold or touch it. my ghosts in my stories are a little different from how they're usually portrayed. they aren't malevolent, and they only visit for nostalgia, not necessarily because they have unfinished businessΒ
