Description
My very first attempt at realistic pencil portraits. The scanner made the texture look less soft than what it really is.A4. Spent ~14 hours on it. Tools: H, HB and 4B pencils + eraser + toilet paper.

The title is from Janis Joplin lyrics. I listened to her quite a lot when I was starting this.

Well, I don't have a mobile phone (there must be one lying around here somewhere but I think it's from a time when people didn't even dream about taking pictures with their phone). I think before I decide what kind of picture it will be I must gather information about how people think I look so I know in what ways exactly I would disappoint them

I'll help you: I can tell you straight away I assume you look like an abstract expressionist painting. Considering how I look at things, that will probably be true -- even if the subject of the photo you post is really your neighbour's guinea-pig.

Oh it wasn't meant to be sad - I meant I might sound more interesting than I look, I mean, read more interesting than I look - I wish I were made up of words, really - but thanks for cheering me up, nonetheless, it's always nice.
I think in the future parents will choose before the birth of their child what sort of mobile phone device should be implanted in its body, which will evolve to such a state that we shall no longer speak but phone each other with Nokia's integrated in our vocal chords.
The phones I've owned (two) I've either won somewhere or have been given to me by people who bought newer models - similar to you. And I've lost them all. I think it was on purpose.
