Lovely piece! I really like the contemporary look you gave the entire piece, and the colors are great.

very nice.... probably my favourite of the three, which are all good.

...you heard of an artist called ed ruscha? Only seen a few of his paintings, typicaly of burning petrol stations which are similar in execution to hopper's.... possibly better. Worth checking out his work if you got the time, his brush technique is impressive.

thanks

I just had a quick look at his work, although im not familiar with the name i have seen some his work. Although his hopper style paintings are sharper, I feel that Hoppers work has a higher emotional resonance for me. But I do like Eds other more conceptual work allot.

hmm.... hadn't really thought about it from the emotional viewpoint, perhaps my judgement was too technicaly orientated. I should have a more thorough look at his work, check out the more conceptual stuff you mention.

I don't know where the building is exactly, (its somewhere in london) as I was on a walkabout, im glad you like it though because it did'nt seem that interesting till i'd loaded the pics on to my computer.

Very clever to put it so high on the paper-
I got short of breath just looking up at it!

Ah! So abstract, and powerful at the same time. I'll have you know it made me dizzy, but it was more of the dizzy feeling when you laugh so hard you cant breathe.

Incredible; thank you for the emotion!

I like it! Alott. Did you think about entering the [link] contest? Nice sponsers (adobe, etc..) and nice prices. But there's one thing I can't figure out. I live in belgium, so not far from Londen and we never get any sunny days like you have. I to baught a new camera recently but havent got a chance to play with it because of the crappy weather.

Thanks for mentioning the contest, i think I might enter. I'm sorry to hear that your not getting much sunshine over there

All of this coming from the london trip? Gave me vertigo...I kinda wish I could see more of the typo, its intriguing me to a high degree. Minimalism is cool though. I was a great fan of your picture-to-vector ones way back then. Looks nice.
