Description
A VFA-6Z Alpha fighter of the Mars Base Defense Forces, on a routine low level patrol of th barren Martion landscape. The Mecha belongs to the 43rd Squadron "The Spartans" and carries the modex 115. This Ship did not participate in the failed Earth Recapture mission led by the Mars Attack Division.Original Digital Sketch inked and colored in PS CS3.

Huh, you know I never considered that. Funny thing is BOTH my parents went to State! The color scheme was actually inspired by the game Cyberball believe it or not. There is a team that has this green and silver scheme. I literally color sampled a screen shot into my palette. White is the default secondary color on most Alphas, so I went with that. Total coincidence that I then picked the Spartan logo...

great look at the Alpha fighter in Gerwalker mode...looks great, only thing is the left hand, seems a bit big and the angle os the arm... inside section could be removed...or changed... otherwise great work!

Thanks Jep! I see what you mean. But it was sort of intentional. The left arm is actually further forward than the right (with gun). The attempt is to show perspective. I am tryign work on my dynamic perspectives. Maybe I need to keep working at it?

you should have tilted the shoulder a little to show it was further forward... with the shoulders level, iE straight up and down, its hard to see one arm further forward than the other... gotta move the shoulders so the arm ends up where you want it... but keep it up, it will only look even better... maybe a Beta fighter next? or a Alpha-Beta unit?
