The first stamp I uploaded here. I looooooove Pokemon, but I think it just needs to be said.

Well, I'm not saying you have to love every one of them, but it always seems like a typical Pokemon fan seems so obligated on hating one of the generations just because they show a lot of love for another generation. Who says you can't love all of them. ^^ Seriously, it's like as stupid as the Sonic fandom when they think "you have to choose between Classic and Modern Sonic" because we just can't happen love both of them, just ridicules logic thinking we're in a war or something.
This is my order from favorite to least favorite areas in the main series
1. Unova
2. Jhoto
3. Hoenn
4. Kanto
5. Sinnoh
But I still think they're all great and don't deserve so much unnecessary hate who thinks that they have to hate one region for only the sole sake of loving another. I can understand dislikeing a region, we all have our own opinion, but I don't like the ones who act like complete jackasses who think they're superior to someone else and fight on why it's "better" even though each region has it's own perks and therefore, it's going to be scattered of what one likes
I'll probably go into more depth on a YouTube video of why I picked this order, but I don't want to spoil anything on this description.
Anyway, the Pokemon part. I love Snivy, so therefore I must immediately hate all the other Unova starters. Are you freaking kidding me!? I love all three of them, Snivy is just my favorite of them c:
I love Rayquaza (my currant favorite Pokemon actually) so therefore, I must hate Deoxys. ... Are you kidding!? Deoxys is a badass and unique Psychic type, he's also awesome!
I like Arceus, so therefore, I hate Mewtwo. ... Well, I don't feel strongly for either of these, but you get the hint.
I can never feel "obligated" to hate on a Pokemon just to make myself look cool from it's fans, popular or not. I do however dislike some Pokemon for other reasons that I can easily give generating from my own opinions
TL;DR Pokemon is a very diverse franchise where everyone will spawn their own interest and opinions. Conforming to the groups is a no no to me due to how it loses all uniqueness of the main goal of a franchise, to entertain it's audience with it's merchandise (oh and to get money

I like Pokèmon like I like the Legend of Zelda. Like Zelda, there isn't a Pokèmon game that I have played that I ended up disliking. I may like certian things about one generation over another, and there may be some flaws in each generation, but that doesn't mean I like another Pokèmon game any less.

I know right... And i agree with your lists Jotho and Unova was the most memorable for me... But How come people only focus on Vanilluxe and Garbador yet never Hydreigon or Zoroark... All Pokemon were nit meant to be super strong or beautiful pokemon... They were made fir creatvity and concepts... Just like how some animals are ugly some pokemon are ugly. And just like hiw some animals are weak some pokemon are weak...

Actually, Hydreigon and Zoroark are two of the most popular Pokemon from Gen 5 and are talked about more than Trubbish and Garbador / Vanillite and Vanilluxe.

I love all the generations as well ^^ some pokemon designs they could have done without, but the pros outmatch the cons

Finally! Another who agrees! All I see on every Pokemon videos is 'Old generation is better! New ones all suck!" and I'm getting sick of it.
I've loved Pokemon ever since I watched "Pokemon, I Choose You!" the very first episode, and played the old Red version on the Gameboy, and I'm eagerly awaiting for Black2/White2 to come out now. 
I love all generations, but this is my order:
1. Hoenn, Introduced a lot of great Pokemon designs that I love, the games had excellent music, and I love all three starters
2. Sinnoh, mainly because some of my favorite Pokemon come from this generation, Darkrai, Lucario, Infernape, Dusknoir, etc , and the conflict on Mt. Coronet was amazing
3. Unova, I was uncertain when this was coming out, but as I played the games more and looked at all the Pokemon, I grew to love it more and more, especially the story and the different types of designs
4. Johto and Kanto take last place, it brings a lot of nostalgia with all the first Pokemon movies and games, but I hate how everyone's saying they're the best and the rest suck, it ruined things a little for me. But I love these old generations as much as the new, and I'll never forget my first starters of the games, Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Chikorita and Cyndaquil

I once made had stamps on a couple of unova pokemon, and somebody came along and began complaining that I only liked unovan pokemon. I found this pretty ridiculous, because my favourite generation is generation three and I love a lot of sinnoh pokemon too, it's just that my comic is based in unova so it makes sence for most of my characters to be unovan, and therefore a lot of the pokemon I like and draw.
When I explained this to them, they accused me of not liking older genrations. Although I don't like them as much I still have a lot of respect for them and I have a number of kanto favourites (including ninetales, my second favorite pokemon). They didn't seem to listen, because they just start yelling at me about how generation 5 is terrible and I'm terrilbe for liking it, and that the franchise has been going downhill since johto.
They just weren't listening to me and were just going out in a rant, so I just went and blocked them. The stamps have since been deleted.

And, my favourite generations:
2. Hoenn, because it introduced Swampert, Absol, Manectric and a few other of my favourites. And the only generation where there wasn't some starter I hated.
2. Sinnoh, introduced most of the most creative and my favourite pokemon, namely Roserade, Infernape, Lucario, Togekiss, Weavile, Frosslass and Luxray.
3. Unova, the first generation where I had a planned out team and started EV training, and it introduced Mienshao and Whimsicott, among others.
4. Johnto and Kanto I don't know which one I liked more, they both introduced a fair share of favoruites but overall most of the pokemon I hated. They also had some really uncreative evolutions.

I don't have a problem if people favor older generations, but it's plain annoying when they act like it's perfect and flawless and that all the others suck because they aren't identical to the first one.
Unova is my favorite, but I like the four others too.
Unova finally made me like bug Pokemon (Volcarona and Scolipede FTW) but I can never forget the original Pokemon.
People can like whichever generations, but I'm tired of people who yell "GOTTA CATCH 'EM ALL!" and hate 4/5s of the existing Pokemon.

Finally, someone who thinks that all these generation wars, team wars and overrated vs underrated pokemon wars (the 'war' which I personally find most annoying in this fanbase) REALLY need to stop.
ALL generations have thier own unique goods and flaws. My personal preference for generations are like this:
1.Unova=Johto (Unova for its creativity and introducing seasons, Johto for its asiatic feel and legends AND introducing the day and night timings.)
2. Hoenn (my favourite starter is from here, plus the tropical feel is cool. Also, it introduced contests, berry growing, abilities and natures)
3.Sinnoh (some of my favourite evolutions are in here, plus I like the concept of eevee evolving via the rocks, plus the parallel dimension thingy with Giratina was COOLIO.)
4. Kanto (I still do like Kanto for its nostalgic value (Blue was my first game) as it REALLY was the one that started the franchise- plus SOME of my fave pokemon ARE in the first gen. However, compared to other regions, it just now feels kinda......bland. )
Sure I may not like Kanto as much as other regions, but I'm old enough to know not to be a jerk and force my opinion on others, even if they do get annoying.
Oh and on the pokemon part: SO TRUE- you are SPOT ON.
Sure my favourite Unova starter is Oshawott, but I do love all the Unova starters ( Snivy comes VERY close for me. Tepig is my least fave, but he's cute as I adore baby piglets and Emboar is growing on me).

Mewtwo I really like in his film (never use him in game) and Arceus has a cool concept, but they aren't really my big faves.
This is mine: I love the eeveelutions, Zoroark, Lugia and 'kawaii' pokemon which means I hate underrated, wierd, creepy pokemon. WHAT?! I maybe a die-hard Lugia, Zoroark and Eeveelution fan but I ADORE Ho-oh as much as I adore Lugia (they're my favourite legendary duo) and also: Swoobat is my favourite generation 5 flying type (I LOVE bats) and I while I REALLY LOVE cute pokemon like Cinccino, Piplup and Emolga, I also think Bisharp, Mandibuzz, Cofagrigus and Mismagius and other weird and creepy pokemon are just plain AWESOME in my book.

The only Pokemon thing that I think went rather downhill during the years was the anime. The games have been amazing as ever.
And it's awesome to see more people who actually like all of the generations and don't immediately scream "FIRST GEN ONLY THE REST SUCK IF YOU LIKE IT YOU SUCK" if they get any indication you like something beyond the first few games.
Really, for me, Red, Blue, or Yellow are not even the ones with most nostalgic value. Sapphire is, as it was the first game I can remember playing...yet I don't go into nostalgic rage whenever someone says that like generations other than the third one.

THANK YOU. I wish more people would realize that all Pokemon generations have their perks and flaws. I do think that things started to get a little shaky + different around Gen III, but Gen V brought it all back. The war does indeed have to stop.

I personally like all the Pokemon games... It's the ANIME that really really REALLY got worse. >.< Mainly around Gen 3. The anime went downhill.
The games are getting better, though. With graphics and such.
My only complaint is that the Pokemon are less and less realistic, and the designs are getting annoying. D: (Too many objects and stuff...)
But the actual Pokemon games are getting so much better with each new generation.

YUSS! For me:
1st gen was the origin, so it's kinda special.
2nd gen had the rival and Red and both of their themes were quite epic.
3rd gen had the music, many of my favorite pokemon, kicked off the PMD series and had FR/LG.
4th gen also had good music, PMD2, HG/SS and Paul was a good rival in the anime IMO.
5th gen had the story. That, and all these new badass things coming up in BW2! YAY!

No, you're not. Actually, the newer the game is, the more I like it, except for unova and sinnoh. I mean I like Sinnoh most, and only then Unova, not vice versa. Next is Hoenn, Johto, and I like Kanto least. But this doesn't mean that I don't like it, just not as much as the others. Thatnk you for making this. Seriously, I love all the Pokemon games! I started with Yellow and I'm eagerly awaiting Black 2/White 2. I've played at least one game from every generation so far, and quite a few of the side games, and I have no intention to stop anytime soon!
It's one thing to have a favorite game/generation, but it's not cool to go around bashing the other ones, or bashing the people who like them. For me personally though, each game has too much I like in them for me to choose favorites~ ^_^

I've been a fan since the beginning. I still remember when that first commercial aired and how hyped the series was.
I also remember that Charizard on the front of Red and how cool it looked then was one of those who thought it was the best Pokemon. Oh, I was so naive back then. xD
