[Well, it happened again. Another nightmare reared its ugly head. And this time, I know who caused it.]

Someone is approaching Wood Man in his dream.

[He was purple and had features of a cat. Wasn't this the one who'd beaten up Hopalong?]

Purple cat-bot: Hey, Mr. Tree Robot!
Wood Man: *turning around to face this strange character* *cautiously* Uh... C-can I help you?
Purple cat-bot: Do you like animals?
Wood Man: Y-yeah? W-what about you?
Purple cat-bot: *expression changing in an instant from a warm, friendly smile to a devilish smirk* Yeah? What about me?
Wood Man: Uh-oh...

He knew something was up. He tries to back away, but the cat-shaped fiend is intent on keeping close.

Purple cat-bot: I guess you could say I'm an animal kinda guy.

Eventually, he's backed against a tree, frozen with fear, but still together enough to attempt to use his Leaf Shield.

Purple cat-bot: In fact, I've almost got this feral, wild edge to myself. *raises his claws, long and sharp* Wanna see?
Wood Man: *repeatedly snapping and clapping in an attempt to use his Leaf Shield* C'mon... C'mon...!

Looking up, he sees that the feline menace is gone. What a relief!
