Description
Even though the fields of the museum at APG are now empty I still found a few vehicles like this one scattered throughout the base. One the most iconic tanks of World War II. The T-34 was produced by the Soviet Army around the start of the war and continued to be in service long after 1945. Because it was so easy to manufacture and operate, the Soviets often used them in large numbers to overwhelm the technologically superior German tanks.

I'm pretty sure that's the T - 34 - 85 variant but that was the best produced variant ( I had the most powerful gun in its series of models ).

More like Afghanistan, it no longer has markings, latest edition T-34, it was either used by the soviets in the 70/80s or insurgents during the late 80s.

I'm not sure if I want to know what possessed someone to paint it in desert colors.

Lol I'd be more inclined to call the FT-17 THE tank personally. Well or the British Mark tanks but the FT-17 is the first truly recognizable tank IMO.Β
