Description
Backlash is a DNA sample of a Hylocoil, a race of ape-like creatures from the chaotic jungle planet, Sarcomania. Backlash stands about 5’10, weighing about 180 pounds and has cyan fur and orange skin, he’s clad in green sweatpants and the Hexamatrix dial is imbedded in his sternum. Backlash’s kind, the Hylocoils are very strange creatures with their weird extra limbs and double flapped ears. Their hearing is incredibly acute, allowing them to keep track of what’s going on around them, such as the racing pulse of a Sarcotaz more than 500 feet away. Due to the extreme competition of Sarcomania, the Hylocoils never had the time or ability to form serious civilizations, still living almost exclusively in trees.

Backlash possesses 4 super elastic limbs, two under his ribs and two between his shoulders. He has the ability to internally coil up his limbs, retracting them and building up potential energy. He can then use that energy to launch his limbs at incredible speed like a slingshot, grappling into any nearby surface allowing him to swing at incredible speeds and distances. His secondary limbs are not only super elastic, but also fully prehensile serving as extra arms for quickly evading the insane predators of Sarcomania, such as the ferocious Sarcotaz (Tasmangle’s species).
Backlash possesses enhanced strength, able to lift 3 times his body weight. Backlash is incredibly agile, able to out-maneuver even Gruffian and Nik Nak.

As for weaknesses, Backlash can get caught up in his limbs if he’s not careful, though this has become less of an issue as he’s gotten older. He’s vulnerable to high frequency sounds and electricity, and strangely this transformation is allergic to chocolate, likely because none of the fruits on Sarcomania contain Theobromine (the feel good chemical in chocolate). The reaction makes him horribly ill and causes his limbs to lose elasticity, in high amounts it could damage his nervous system or even kill him.
