Finally chapter 2 of my webcomic is finished! This is the end page (it doesn't really have a function it's just very fancy lol).
And next week is the start of chapter 3!

Haha yeah like I said I again and again I improved most of that so who knows haha! But I do have some idea where Ethan's story is goin if I ever going to get myself to work in this comic again! And yeah Fern is well easy and fun to understand. I in gernally like to keep everything relatively simple because I like that better in comics.
I am so glad you liked the comic! Especially the dialogue feels so unnatural and often has lots and lots of grammatical incorrection.
Yes yes I know that feeling lately another artist just released her first comic pages you know Buritsu I know her oc's mainly from art but it was so nice to see them in comic form. And I was so hyped I literally screamed in class from excitement (don't worry whe had a 10 minute break).

Pfft, it's totally fine. xD I was worried I was sending too much last night. I actually figured I probably should just comment via the end chapters for the most part to avoid commenting every page. I'm going to finish the rest of it tonight. *O*/ I actually really got inspiration to draw some of your characters again but more scenery when I was reading it! Some of the scenes really felt powerful. (Like Fern's meeting ueiahgeauighg. Seriously. ADORED that scene SO MUCH. xDDD )
There's a couple of ideas now that I'd like to try drawing as gifts for you honestly. (tho forwarn, idk when I'll get to it but it'll be random and awesome for you) x'D (It's really rare I get inspired like that so be proud Lumy!

I actually thought the dialogue was pretty good. It really gave personality to each of the characters imo. Q_Q So don't say that! I really loved Fern's intro the most. xD As you know. You were amazing with it. <3

Oh no oh no not at all when I first saw Xhan I wanted to do an art trade with you immediatly but but I just didn't feel like I was on your high level of art to ask for one it was only when you asked for one I'd had a oppurtinity to put that inspiration to work!
Oh no it was more like a I don't draw pages for this comic thing enough. I actually am still doing the prologue for this story after this chapter well the prologue is finished and Oxygen can be a serialized series (or with arcs or something) like it was sorta kinda intended (ofcourse with continuity). I want do built on this story with diffrent spin-offs trying diffrent forms of storytelling haha (but those are just concepts) let's say I am not going to animation school for nothing haha but they might as well be comic shorts.

I like to learn a lot about other's oc's too! I don't talk that much about my oc's it's most likely because well the story keeps changing and it feels like I would just give outdated information I guess (but I want to upload more future concept art/ promotional art).

You too your support means so much to me it has pushed me through some really art blocky times. When I was very upset honestly if it wasn't for Driz I wouldn't do comics but if it wasn't for you I'd probably took a long long hiatus from Deviantart.
About the trade I like how it turned out but but I must admit that I at first tried to draw just Xhan but that failed. So I thought why not compensate with drawing all the charachters haha especially after you told me the lore and the backstory of the charachters I got more and more interested. Also I don't like to do this gigantic type of art pieces with the traditional lineart because it makes my computer crash pretty hard so I only save that for special occasions haha! So so I am glad you like it I am sorry that the reason why I draw the drawing was because I failed at another drawing.
Again thank you so much for the support! I've been on Deviantart for what like almost 2 years and you've been one of the most supporting friends (ofcourse not ruling out Driz or all of those on my profile listed under most favorite Deviantart artist) I've ever had on Da thank you so much!

( I totally had a reply typed out on my phone but then my backspace button jammed and I saw all my hard work literary being backspaced in a matter of seconds and I couldn't do anything about it. ToT) So I waited until now, sorry.
Honestly, I really wanted to revisit your OCs in art after I read your comic and this was serious inspiration. XD Like, seriously, you'll prob have another piece come to you sooner or later!

oeaghag. I didn't know that! LIKE. XD No no, honestly, idk if you saw my updated profile notes (not there atm) but I decided to stop doing art trades, collabs, and gifts for others EXCEPT 4 people. (I didn't mention names to not get people mad. xD) but you and Angel were one of the four. There is various reasons for it honestly. But I am always open to doing trades , collabs, etc with you Lumy. Never think that. I adore your art style!

Oh serialized means that??? Plot archs??? I thought anything was seralized if it's more than one volume.

Oh yes, teal clover is angel. she's actually not planning a comic sadly , but I have offered (tried to get her to change her mind haha xDD) to do one. I think she was slightly open to the idea of kind of collabing with me at one point (Like I help her script something for her ocs or start it and then draw fun pages for her) but as a full comic, I think she has no plans. Which is sad. Her ocs are so much fun imo. D'x I'd love to see it happen one day.
I'm so glad you didn't though. T_T You're one of the nicest people ever and seeing your work always makes me happy. So please don't! Though, I do understand the importance of taking breaks though. Just definitely don't leave or give up Oxygen. I'm always here if you need help, want feedback, want to share or test ideas before showing the public, anything like that, I'm here and you can note me. (Even if you just want motivation or courage to keep going, please do note me. I understand how hard it can be and I want to support you and your wonderful vision. 
RE: the art trade you did for me
I will let you know a secret All my characters fail A LOT when I draw them. Hai is actually the hardest for everyone to draw because of his hair (I think you drew the first half of the series, his hair. The second half it's like...crazy in every direction, up, down, front, back. ) and most people struggle with Hai. (You did awesome tho btw) While I struggle with him...Xhan is literary my worst enemy. xD In concept, he's easy but putting it to paper he's mad hard. I think you nailed him. So cute and so adorable! 
I know the feeling with the computer crashing. (My new laptop crashes on projects that aren't even big, it's just lame) xD Like omgosh, that literary makes me so much happier. Honestly, it'll always be a piece I was honored ot have of my comic, especially knowing the story behind it!
TOT I've honestly been on dA longer but you've been honestly one of the select few that have been super supportive too. I was happy to meet you!

PS: Almost forget discord. Yeah, I can note you my discord ID (I rather keep it private for close friends QnQ Though technically I'm in a KH shipper server xDD and I guess it doesn't matter technically) but I'll note it to you when I log in. Think I need to give you the number I am. But it's chat , video, and call. But, I just do chat. No calling or video. xDDD You can direct message someone or join servers. Servers remind me of DA groups. (At least the KH one I am in) It's basically different sections, fan art / art/ real life / welcome center/ movies/ vids/ etc (at least again, the server I am in has those links set up for us) etc. It'd be awesome for comic stuff to get people supporting each other but there is definitely things I want to check out first before doing that since it's more of a chat thing that I can't be on 24/7 to make sure everyone is following rules. It's fun tho and really really super really a great alternative to dA groups. (surprisingly. I had no intention to get a discord but Angel convinced me and I had someone from KH fandom interested in affiliating with Rokunami FC then they directed me to a fan server for them so from there is how I got discord this week. xD )

Same for me I stopped or at least am on a break with the art trades and such. I wanted to do that for a while to just take some time off for well rest haha. But I honestly do do miss art trades so perhaps I might go back into it.
Well now I am curious what kind of gift you are drawing. Is it some kind of statistics chart or something because you said it has use for others too!
Yes I like long episodic stories too but in cases like Hunter x hunter I really like the story arcs moving from mini goal to mini goal instead of taking forever to move to one goal.
Hm... yes I know that feeling lot's of friends have a lot of stories and or a lot of oc's and I always encourage them to do a form of story telling gor those even if it is an ugly ugly comic or a grammatically incorrect story still better than none. But as of lately I guess people seem to get to most inspired by seeing others having fun doing the thing that might push them to start working on it. But I am not entirely sure if that's why so.
I am not really taking breaks haha. I just keep rewriting and rewriting the next page. There have been like 3 diffrent versions of the last 2 pages. Honestly it's impressive how many scrapped pages there are it kinda saddens me since some of them have been almost finish too but that's what it takes to make a comic I guess.

Is it question for you comic to go into black and white or be colored? I'd honestly say whatever is your preference. Getting pages out fast or have them with pretty colors. I only choose greyscale because I had 2 weeks to color the entire first chapter my original plan was to get it all out in color (but making a comic in less than a month no that isn't a great idea).
So it are like group chats? That's really nice! I could invite some of the other comic artist I know! Perhaps they would like to join too!
ps. although this comment is very long I am pretty proud of myself that this isn't even longer because I really held back with the long ass comment writing this time!

I'm not sure of hunter x hunter, but I always got the impression those who do the archs kind of have one main goal but there's certain archs that happen within the main one? XD That's how mine kind of goes down. It's like certain things happen within it, which creates archs WITHIN the main goal. :'D

It really does. I've scrapped whole volumes before and rewritten volume one of my web comic 3 times now. (Going for a fourth because it was kind of decided I might want to take another direction) scenes I've rescriptted countless times. So it's totally normal, the goal is to not go crazy with it imo. D'x!
I've been using it for Roxas x Namine server and to talk with a friend or two over there. xD it's actually pretty cool cause it's like real time deviantart groups. can categorize chat topics and post and people can be on how long they want and even set discord up to their phones or desktop. (I have downloaded the app, so when I'm on dA or drawing, the messages pop up like instant message to let me see who's posting what and where. Or if Someone DM's me I can instantly see it in the corner of my screen)
Nah. xD I started 7 years ago but stopped for a long time after 3 years. Just this year I really came back honestly. So there was like a 4 year inactivity period I went through.
Oh I meant you had mentioned you weren't sure if you wanted to do color or black and white with your comic. :'D I was referencing that. (but I love whatever version you go for with your comic honestly. 
Yeah, it's kind of hard to explain. With the servers I've been in. You enter the server. There's categories you can click and post in on the side. (which I would create seperate tags for like my web comic and yours so you can post in your topic and people too) If I DO create one for webcomics like yours and mine and others for support groups, I'll prob keep member count limited at first to friends to test things out. (Especially cause I'll have to manage and mod the group honestly.So small is better) plus, I'd like it to be a SERIOUS group put together to support each other, not just have members pop on to promote their comic then idle around. I'd like to see others interact with each other to give support. It's tricky but I am thinking of it and the rules and how to handle things. Since it'll be more friends though it may be easier than trying to plan if strangers were trying to join.
Very curious, were your friends mutal with me? Who you were thinking to join with us? (If they have dA, can you link them to me? In note if you want. You don't have to tag ether, ether way works) Half the issue will be finding people who have discord and are willing to download it to actually join in and perhaps create that support. I know Angel may join the server *may* join to just support, I know I will be there, you, and there is one person I was going to PM tonight since he has been trying very hard to get his creations out. It's not a webcomic per say but I know he has creative story ideas and would like others to talk with about it.
So really it's only 4 ppl atm for the server if it were to be created. x'D lol. So I'm trying to get a general idea who MAY have webcomics and may be active in helping each other. (Of course, two friends and you are a really good start though. xDDD) Let me know who you had in mind lumy. (Though, honestly, I'll be keeping the webcomic content to PG-13 to keep things for everyone so if a web comic is straight out mature with heavy content I prob won't allow links in. It's situational imo)

Yes the arcs will all work towards a maingoal however the maingoal kinda is not the main focus but rahter a factor to push the plot forward.

Perhaps this doesn't have to be a discord about webcomic alone it could be just story creators haha or supportive artist. I'd personally ask the comic crew like Drizdew, Randomode, Bananavulture, mrelementronda, buristu, sternritterrex, kyelklim etc. These are all people with webcomics haha. I think they would very much be happy to talk with anyone about comic related stuff.

Oh for discord?? Yeah, I had one for gaming but I never used it. I haven't much been using this one cause the servers I'm in are a tad....slow. x'D I never gave you my userID but I'll note it to you now I think? So you can pm if you want on there. I have my discord set up to send me in real time notices so I can get notified as long as I'm on my laptop of posts.

Yeah, I was thinking that but we can still give creators like you a text channel for you to post stuff related to your comic in. That's the amazing thing with discord is it allows some serious organization for easy to use stuff. So I'd give your own little section that says 
But I will prob open to people who have serious OC projects in general. I think you watch sketchman147 , he has tons of projects that aren't necessarily webcomics but he'd like to gather support from others for his creations. (I already talked with him and he seemed down for the channel idea. :'D!)
I'll save this list, I might have you ask the ones I'm not familiar if they'd like to join or be interested. Buristu and Stern are the only two I'm familar with if I'm honest. (And driz but I feel bad because I haven't had time to talk with her like I want. My messages are in the 100's atm from not being to keep on top of them if I'm honest) I'm not sure Buristu will join though...I can ask but not sure as I think she prefers staying on dA more to share.
I'd probably send a copy of the rules too to everyone before sending invites out too.

Ah yes the way I ink haha is traditional. Oh uhm... I tried scripting this so many times but it doesn't work for me I just jump into it I guess that works best for a serialized series anyway. I often see this kind of trend that cartoons start of serialized and after a while kinda get their drift and become episodic so perhaps you could jump into it and after a while you know where you want your story to go (although many many tutorials don't advise working this way at all).

Ah, I'm surprised but I guess I understand how scripting can be hard. Sometimes you can fit all the actions and stuff into the actual pages which can make it hard imo. ether way, you're doing awesome with it so definitely keep up the goodwork!
I've done test runs in the past but haven't tried the new format yet. only black and white comic pages honestly. Q____Q maybe I'll share some with you if I can find them in stash. but a lot were just tests and not from a direct scene in script.

Yeah, it may not work very well so idk if ill do it. I can say it's better than dA groups imo and can work to bring ppl together support wise but we'd def need dedicated ppl so idk exactly about it. (from some I'm still waiting for replies with oc messages and sadly it prob means they'd be too busy to join a server and support)
