I did a little animation type thing. I wanted to draw my oc's sparring (also new oc he is not canon though). I didn't know what kind of music to place on thisI also looked for a way to put a media player on this... But couldn't figure out how that worked
I know this doesn't look that great but this animation actually took me around 2 weeks (These are around 20 drawings)
I hope to do more of these but next time most likely in an actual animation program rather than a combination of Moviemaker and Paintool Sai But it worked pretty well though

The action sequence in your scene is great! I like the magic and the smooth movement of the characters. It flows really good! And it seems like a cool battle! They use so many different spells, and the attack with the sword also was great!

Oh I am sure you can do animations these are basically just comic panels put in a sequence using Moviemaker nothing very fancy! I am sure you could do it too!

"A little"? Lumy, I don't have the patience myself to do this! (Even if I want to.)
Even though the scene doesn't contain a ton of movement, the characters actions
are still easily understood. I also liked how the scene zoomed in and out.

Uhm yeah it was suppose to be a quick little animation (if you can call that) and I planned to do it in 3 days. Instead I worked 2 week on it!
I am glad it's understandable in animation that would be one of the most important aspects! So I am glad you liked it! The zooming out was just me having fun with Moviemaker haha Don't be too harsh on youself like I said I didn't use any animation programs for this just moviemaker and a drawing program anyone with patience could do this I am sure you too.

This is really cool! I can tell a lot of work was put into it. I want to do something similar, longer animations that tell stories like this, someday. It would be awesome for you to put things like this on youtube! With music I know there is some music that is free to use that a lot of youtubers use.

I agree about finding music first, and then doing an animation to go with it. One thing I'd like to do someday is participate in some animation MAPs. It might be a good way to practice animating things with music!
I'm not sure what stories I'd like to animate, I was just inspired by this I would love to do animations featuring my OCs, like my spirit characters could be fun to animate! For sure, I'd like to do animations with Archaos too :3

MAP is multi-animator project. This one is a great example because the uploader explained all about it here . There's a bunch on youtube! I love drawing collabs and I want to practice longer animations so I can be part of animation collabs too!

Everything recent I've done in Clip Studio but I used Photoshop PS3 in the past. I actually don't recommend Clip Studio for animating because you need the more expensive version to make long animations. I want to try out the free program Krita for possible future animation projects!

Ow yeah both Photoshop and Krita seemed good too! But are both a bit too much for my computer to handle!
Indeed I was animating in Clip studio and was suprised that I couldn't add more frames. I had to search why that was and it was locked I thought that was pretty dumb!
I personally like Flash but you can't get painterly in the program so I might want to try some new programs

To me it's very similair to comics really! Like putting panels in a sequence and make a video out of it. I am sure you could be excellent in these animatic style animations too!
