Description
A view of derwent water just after the sun had died behind the mountains in the Lake District (UK). The last glimps of light just catches the clouds as it fades.I used 2 ND.6 Lee Grads for this shot, hence the darkening sky at the top. But I had to do that to retain the colour the clouds in order to give it more impact.
No photoshopping has taken place. I am very much a purist of photography and will only crop my images and remove dust from my sensor and tweak the colour balance in the photoshop RAW converter.

Lovely photograph Altho i'm a little bit :S about the darker sky at the top. I know what you're saying about retaining the colour and detail in the clouds, but its just a shame its so dark.

Wow, the colors are wonderful, and the view must be breathtaking. I hope I can go to Europe someday.
