Description Well, I've taken a lot of sunset photos before, and this is one of them. Taking photos of sunsets can become a little ordinary if it's the same thing over and over again. But I particularly liked this one for the colours more than anything.
Shortly after I took this shot (within seconds) my camera and I got soaked by a sudden storm.

it was taken at a nature reserve in Himmingford Grey near Huntingdon (UK) on an early winter evening. Thank you for your kind comments

yep At sun down just before a storm is the best time to get sunset photos in the UK, particular in the south east where I live cos its commpletely flat for miles so you get to see some amaing skys

yes and we have LOTS of storms here in the UK i live in south east wales. the chance of going to south east england are pathetic because i can only go places my family are already going to....

still, maybe some more interesting skies will come again with the summer....

Wow! as you said, the colours ARE awesome Maybe the pic is a bit too dark to the left, but that's not really too big a thing

fair comment. although that was dark cloud up there above me, and I'm not too into photoshop editing, I like to present the real as it was at the time and that was wot it was like
