Just a painting of a red Lotus. Love these cars.Well, it's certainly not a vector. This is a painting I started back in late July, but just never finished.
100% photoshop and 100% done with a mouse. I used a reference from somewhere for the tire and front areas and all of the highlights, but I lost the image about a week in. Some of the proportions are off because of that. Resident deviant Jelly said that everything is wrong. Well, yea, it is messed up.
He also told me to use the dodge tool. So I did. He prefered a hard "OMG THERES SO MUCH GLOSS ON THIS PAINT LIGHT DISTORTS THE CHANNEL OF TIME" approach. I just did something subtle.
I tried to find the reference, but I couldn't, so deal with things not centered and such. If you have seen the original (has the same highlights and basic body frame) send it to me so I can fix my mistakes.

Beautiful Elise!!!!! Is that color "Chrome Orange" or "Ardent Red" under strong lighting??? Loads of fine and subtle shading and reflection work, with NO "Fakey GM Fender Highlights"!!!! You make this Elise look like it has 21 coats of the finest carnuba wax on it! Wonderful work!!! I am most impressed with the depth and realism of the lighting pods, especially the recessed projector beams and the fine fluting of the lenses!!! You state it is 100% Photoshop, and manipulated 100% with a mouse? Well, you certainly have mastered Photoshop, and Rodents obey your every direction!!! Excellent work!!!

As they say - to draw with mouse it's like to draw with soap.
I like use mouse for rdawing sometimes. It's very intresting and result is always wholly satisfactory.
This work is great one. You've done it well. It looks very earnestly. Especially I like the way you do the bamper.
