Description EDIT 10/4 = Like ElectraDust pointed out, I forgot his black corneas...I'm an idiot but yeah, for those of you who are not familiar with Illy's appearance, this  is how his eyes actually look like.

Today, I was bored, so I quickly sketched on paper a potrait of my OC Illiterate Supremacy with a butterfly on his nose.

It was meant to remain a 10-minute sketch, but I sort of got carried away, so it became a digital lineart.
...and then a flat colored digital drawing.
...and then I added some shading on the butterfly.
...and then I tried to shade Illy a little bit.
...and then I added some grass and shaded it as well.
...and then I wrote a whole story inspired by this artwork!

So, yeah...don't be too harsh when judging this piece, please: I know the anatomy is a bit wrong, and the shading makes no sense, but keep in mind this was just meant to be a warm-up, pencil sketch, that I then turned into something completely different because I can't control myself >w<
The main reason I uploaded it was because I think he looks really cute despite the imperfections So I hoped it could put a smile on someone's face, as it's putting one on mine right now

That this is adorable the poor thing is scared of a little flutterby! QuQ Or butterfly XD The poor thing To be honest, I find that just way too adorable, especially when I read that he was so terrified  by the little creature! (I'll write more about the story, in the actual story part But know that story helped a lot for you know what >:3) And the way you drew the angle, the pose, the expression, it's all in all perfect! Even the shading is well done! How DARE you say it makes no sense And the atonomy looks well done as well! ^^ And the butterfly is just BEAUTIFUL!!! I could almost see it flapping it's beige wings! The design you picked for it was well done and thought out  
And even if you forgot to make his corneas black (remember mate, I always forget something big like this in pictures most of the time) he's no less adorable (Hyde can approve ) He's still our beloved, fluffy, worried, purple, little unicorn
Amazing job at this Lenny! I know very well how this process goes Most of what I draw are just sketches, then they become art and a story But you made this so well and the story was just as adorable and funny as this picture! ^^

Aw, thank you so much Celly It means a lot to me that you find this story adorable, and I'm honored it could inspire you with writing your story ^^ Looks like "flutterbies" () are two-faced creatures in my AU as well Some people see them as friends, some as foes...and then there's Stendhal, who sees them as specimen to classify XD
While I am proud of the story, I can't say the same of the drawing, but the butterfly is a happy exception: I'm really, really proud of how she came out  
I'm glad both you and Hyde still like Illy, even with white corneas Still...ugh, how could I make such mistake? I blame JB >_>

I swear, I'm facepalming so hard right now: did I seriously miss one of my OCs' distinctive traits and didn't realize it until now? Sigh.

(In all fairness I didn't realize it until this week, when I was thinking about Illy and realized "Wait...Isn't he supposed to have black eyes?!")

Blame school...even though this was in summer.

(I believe we are so used to white corneas, that, unless we focus a lot on who the character is and how they are supposed to look like, we just assume white corneas are okay )

Gee, this sounds familiar.

WELCOME TO MY WORLD! Except for me it usually starts with me hearing a song for the first time, then I get an idea and just make a little sketch of it, then I goes downhill until I end up writing this full blown series on it!

And I’m speaking from experience on Deception, Quest, and BFB, where I created Maverick to be this little side character who only showed up once (And drew it off of “Demons”) Now look at Maverick! He’s got three series, about 13 short stories, and about 24 drawings. Here I was just doodling off Imagine Dragons.

Glad you can relate...but also sorry to hear you share my same curse: a severe case of creative mind!   
(Even though...in a way, it's pretty cool! I like having a creative mind because you are never bored! Even if that means you are destined to never be able to rest either hehe )

Maverick is awesome I'm glad Imagine Dragons inspired you to create him, he's officially the new star of your profile...be careful or he might steal it, like Hacker Fresca did with mine a while ago
