EDIT: I have hit a little speedbump and release has been delayed slightly. But it's all to make it as friendly as possible to the end users.

As the title says, a preview of Superbar 1.0.
In this preview you'll probably notice a few new things like twitter, the wifi monitor and the battery monitor.

OK, now, some I have two questions to all of you, the first is a little more pointed at people using this theme but anyone feel free to answer.

As you can probably see the dropdowns in the upper part have a different background than the two at the bottom.
The bottom ones have a background i have been experimenting with for a few reasons;
-I know at least some people who use this theme actually started using the second background left in the files
-The new one will work fine no matter how wide your screen is
-With the old background if you had a primary monitor with a resolution lower than 1980 in width and had a secondary monitor to it's right the background would continue on to that

EDIT: (I just noticed it wasn't very noticeable in the preview but both the backgrounds have a certain transparency but my current wallpaper made that hard to see.)

So what I want to know is, which one is better? Which should I use as default in 1.0?

Feel free to post suggestion for a background if you have, darker, brighter and so on.

Does anyone know any web service that can contact a pop3 server and give you a list of your mails in a rss feed? I found some, but they were all dead in one way or another and could not be used.
