Description
Bloom, bloom, bloom,by the window, by the sun,
by the cooling shade of soft green cedar,
bloom, bloom, bloom.
When the chrysanthemums baldly raises
its heavy head to the dim-lit skies,
or cicadas shrill in train-speed rhythm
buzz and rest their wings on your shivering thighs
do not fear the world, the strangeness of Nature,
do not flip your pale small eyelids and waver.
Whenever burly oaks grow, wild-strong branches wide,
and benign barley bend and bow in a smile;
No - this too high; No - this too low,
Bloom, bloom, bloom.

I love it that you saw the, well, at least I thought, quit obvious comparison to Nature Poetry. Although this poem is really not about nature I think you are the first one to state this obvious connection. Thank you.

I love how the whole piece has such a lovely cohesiveness to it, like watered silk, running to its own rhythm. It doesn't blow you away with too many literary pyrotechnics but quietly draws you in. Wonderful work, Omri

Beauty in all shapes and forms can be appreciated, even if none of us are aware of it at the time.
The imagery and descriptions you offer us here are crisp, along with the lovely things you are describing. I was touched. Whomever it is dedicated to, I know would be deeply honored by it. This is another beautifully written piece that can be enjoyed on several levels.
