I did some FMA fan art! yay!*ahem*
This just happened out of a little digital doodle I did in painter on Friday night before going out and doing all the new years yadda yadda stuff. Actually, when I got back I stayed up fairly late because I wanted to work on it. I did the same thing Saturday night... and then worked on it for most of Sunday and now it's done and I like it.
Still haven't seen the end of FMA PLEASE don't spoil anything for me. I've kept myself a spoiler virgin in this series and I've almost made it the whole way.
So... hope you like my little picture of Ed and some random monster. I had thought of putting Envy around the corner, but I wanted something taller... and, you know... scarier looking.
I think the idea for this pose came from a kristen perry painting... can't remember exactly or else I'd say.

This, my friend, is VERY cool. Honestly one of the best FMA fanarts I've seen. And so soon into the series, too!!! Since Brotherhood's over, I can just comment that I lol'd at the comment about needing something taller than Envy... I won't say more, so as not to spoil.

Wait a minnit, there's a friggin' MOVIE???????? Alright, I absolutely LOVE the glow effects, but where are they? Is that a sewer or something? And you should do one that commemorates Hughs. Cause he was one of the greatest characters. No question about it. I SAID NO QUESTIONS!!!

Very nicely done. I don't know much (Or anything at all, haha) about the program, but until I read your description I thought that was an actual painting. It's a shame this was drawn over a year ago. If you had drawn this more recently, you probably COULD'VE used Envy, as his appearance in the manga is... well, if you read the manga, you know. If you don't, you should.
If you don't mind me asking, is that red paint on the wall Ed's leaning on suppose to say something? If so, what exactly? I've been staring at it, trying to figure out what it could be a part of.

Gorgous work. I love your painterly style. Your attention to light is very good, and i love the colors. The texture on the wall is a nice touch too.
If I may suggest it (even though the piece is finished) the monster could use a little more attention, as it is now, it just seems like it's strolling around the corner not stalking. Which is what I assume it is doing. It also doesn't really have that FMA kind of feel too it, perhaps if it was more twisted looking, or hunched over. You rendering of Ed feels like Ed, to me. He's clearly focused on his foe, though he doesnt' quite look like he's ready for the coming fight. The boy is a wound spring of energy that seems ready to jump at any moment, here he seems a bit stationary.
And I have to ask. Why does his automail foot seem so much bigger than his other foot?
Very good rendering though, for a 'digital doodle'. I like your camera work very much.

(Normally, I'd be an Ed whore here, but I'd rather talk about the piece. I love the dark feeling to the piece and how the chimera lookin' dude is all "rwarr" and Ed's gonna like...kill him and stuff. I love the poses and Ed's expression and the WATER. OH GOD THE WATER. That's just so perfect like he's sitting in a large puddle of...water! And xD It says "ED" in grafitti in on the wall. Coolos. The lightning on Ed's hands is perfect and how it reflects off his face and everything else is perfect. Great job, you get a

Ok first off, I love how you have Ed hiding but not looking scared, however he still looks so serious. The prespective of Eds feet in the watter also kicks ass. The monster in the back ground was a nice touch.

Funny story really, I had no clue who he was when I found the picture I just saved it and one day my freind drew a picture of him and I asked if he had a metal arm since he looked familiar and then I told them I had a piture of him without a shirt and she practically threw a fit until I showed it to her....and you all probably couldn't give a flying sock so Im just gonna shut up now. =3;;;

about the fanart, Chris would know when it will go up. There's about two or three pieces that we've gotten (not counting your work(s)) since we last updated the page.
