She's so lovely! A bit more shading on the lighter side of her lips would add more effect. And make it look like she's smiling, just so slightly.

I've actually been resubmitting this the past 30 mins., adding to and trying to fix it up a bit...And after I read your comment, I looked and you were totally right! I tried smoothing her shoulder (well, both of them) out a bit...so hopefully, it's better now! Thanks for letting me know, Anne--I really appreciate it! And if her shoulder still looks wonky, don't hesitate to tell me. ^_^

As I scrolled down to read your reply I actually noticed that the picture had changed, it's noticeably improved. Though I think it's something about the eyes, not so much the change in the shoulders. Very cool that you're working on this and re-posting it. And I am really glad you take criticism as it is intended... I've gotten some very angry people as the result of pointing out errors.

Hmm...I'm glad there is an improvement, as you said; but it still seems that I need to work on the shoulders, yes?; if so, could you better explain how I could fix them? lol...it's fun (sometimes BP) re-doing/modifying pictures and I learn from it, and it's especially helpful to get constructive criticism, so I'm very grateful to you. It's really unfortunate that some people react so negatively to tips, especially yours--your 'critique' was very polite, but direct in a good way--and I think more people should be open to criticism, especially if it's constructive and done respectfully like that. Bah, those people!

The problem, as I see it, though it is much improved, is that her clavicle appears to be all the way up on top of her shoulder... Okay I did a Red-line, hope you don't mind: [link] I'll take it down once you've seen it. Basically we're seeing the top of her shoulder in the picture, the clavicle should end on the top but it should be indicated by a depression rather than popping up... I'm bad at explaining, and I'm not sure how much you can tell from the Red-Line... The other thing I just noticed is that her bun looks like it's on the top and right side of her head because the hair isn't in front of the pearls there. They also seem to end abruptly. So they're red-lined too, though I was unsure of your intent with them. Hope that helps!
