Description
Just Lolly...(lol, forgive the title) X)hmm...she kind of makes you want to gag or sumthin', dunn'she?
After much debate, decided to plop down and color her in...I needed the exercise. (expect other versions)
Lolly is such a fun character--I really need to draw her more.
Info on Lolly: A relative of Bon-Bon...she, too, is a type of hand-maiden to Princess Dinah...(e.g. Bon-Bon:Camille)
A worthy servant and steadfast friend, Lolly also serves as a source of information on the goings-on of 'outside world' for Princess Dinah. While she usually affects a calm front, she WILL have her odd moments and act in a spontaneous manner. She is also rather jumpy, e.g. she startles easily, particularly around males.
(not really sure about this, but...) In her free time away from the Palace, Lolly also acts as a performer with some of her other servant friends in little clubs/restaurant around Slumberland. She has a type of tie to Flip in this way.
lol, I have no idea!

edit: omg, I think this is my first full-bodied deviation...

Ok, Bon-Bon was the one in the movie. They look so much alike.
Nice job on Lolly.

Yup--and it's crazy; ALL of the servants (the ones like Bon-Bon) look alike...even the guys! ...lol, thank you, Leandra!

Little Nemo man. It's my favorite movie, ever since I was little. I still have the tape c: I always wanted the cookies they gave Nemo in the beginning.
Awesome drawing too! Bon-Bon was great, and so is this character!

It was my favorite, too...All the way. The comic, too--it's so friggin' inspirational! You should get the DVD (and/or if you can, the Japanese one--I've heard/read that it's LOADED with extras and the original pilots, moreso than the American DVD...)
AHAHAOHMAN, I can totally relate with you concerning the bit with the cookies--they just look so good! (...they kind of make me think of the iced sugar cookies you can get at Ralph's or wherever...mmm.) 83
And I'm glad you like Lolly! (Yeah, I tried to stay in the strange, candy-based category for the name...XD)

Thanks I was bored one day and doodles up a steak.
Also, I totally have to check out the comic! I had no idea there was one. Do you have a good source? I'm sure I can find it on my own, but I bet you know where the pest place is ;o

lol, you're welcome...oh, the things boredom leads us to. X3
Oh, yeah--the comic is friggin' AWESOME! I actually haven't been able to find a single decent website that provides a lot of the comics--most of them are scattered on different websites and are usually too small to read... So far, this is the only place I've been able to find that has a few of the comics, and at a good, readable size. [link]
If you can, you should go to your nearest bookstore or go on Amazon.com and see what all they have on Winsor McCay's "Little Nemo." ...I really want one of the books, but they're a bit pricey...But I've heard and have no doubt that they are absolutely worth it!

Hey, thanks! Really glad you like it! ...And lol, yeah, I'm a total fan! I used to rent the movie all the time when I was around four or so, and I discovered the actual comics a while later...but I've only recently really begun to enjoy and appreciate both the film and comic! (Winsor McCay was such an artistic genius...so incredible.) But for my purposes, I'm mainly inspired by the movie.
I've yet to actually draw Nemo or any of the other characters (I've been focusing mainly on a past history for Flip), but I'll be sure to notify you when I do! And hopefully I'll see some Little Nemo art from you, eh?
(oh, yeah...I totally dig your icon! Calvin and Hobbes are the BEST!)
