Another "older" image I thought I would post.This is the beginning scene to a story in my head, where technology has been so misused that it becomes synonymous with Evil. Civilization breaks down when the "movement" takes fevered control of the population.
A library droid performing its daily duties is one of many "victims" of the populace's newfound focus for their misery.
Bryce, Poser, Photoshop. I will be revisiting this image soon as I think my skills have grown in the year or more since I did this. Any constructive suggestions welcome.

tis a shame you don't get many comments, this work is just great. i love the despair you can feel in this piece, it's just there. you dn't have to go look for it, you feel it. only an amzing image can do that to me, this one just hits the spot. amazing.

Great attention to detail and the mood is fantastic.
The reflections in the water puddles and the shadow from the lamp and figure are great touches and makes this seem much more realistic. I love the detail in the figure, but especially in the books and trash in the alley. The fence adds a great perspective and really ties it all together very well.

whoa, this is great. really drab (not bad for this piece) and it kind of reminds me of Blade Runner. the only thing i'd change is bring more focus to the books.
