What makes you say it doesn't work? Β You don't get "You get X amount" message twice ... you get the same message. Β Β
What you need to do is save before a trainer fight, fight it once with Luxio and once without and compare the results.

Funny. I've come up with two theroies:
-Pokenavs or the region-in-question equivalent. automatically 'exchanges' money with the person I battle with. So if I gotta Pokemon holding it, it will put into account if it was in the battle. If this was the case, it doubles the total.
-Perhaps money received 'doubles' the amount. Like a ATM combined with a money-printing press.

I so imagined this yesterday & the last few days I was playing pokemon OR I brought 2 luck incense & finally got the amulet coin from mom in the game & I was thinking how much $ do these characters have ? Don't they ever run out ? Doubt it who cares I need it even more ! Lol
