Ever since Ocarina of Time, there have been these eye switches that are used for puzzles. It's easy to just think of them as an inanimate object/target for puzzles, but sometimes I like to think that these eyes belong to something. ΒRelated content

I always love how you NEVER see them in theΒ later games. A few times in Wind Waker (Tower of the Gods) and a few times in Skyward Sword (Skyview Temple), but never in TP.
