look: you have a purse where 100 rupees can fit in.
you can have 100 green rupees in it (total worth: 100)
or you could have 100 red rupees in it (total worth: 2000), but no the game splits the red ones into 20 green ones...
but seriouly, they don't make sence.

The logic would make sense if, say, a red rupee was a twentieth the size of a green rupee. The cheaper the currency, the smaller it is, the harder it is forge. Then again they're crystals, so forgery is probably less of an issue.

yea, but look at (nearly) every Zelda game, every rupee has the same size. You can see that when there are multiple rupees lying on the ground (Windwaker for example). it seems to be the color which makes there value... or there material.
i just want ONE game where the number and the value of the rupees is separated from eachother...
