This would probably explain why the lost woods theme was cheerful and happy in oot and mm. But then, it's somewhat sad and depressing in twilight princess. The experience felt nostalgic, yet I couldn't help but to wonder what the fate was of the forest children. Only the Skull kid was seen living alone there.

Well then I'm afraid your logic is wrong, as both the Hyrule Historia book and someone from Nintendo (I don't remember who though) have confirmed that the Hero's Shade is OoT Link.

First of all, I'm pretty sure it was in an interview, not a video, so you're not likely to get what you want.
Secondly, Hyrule Historia was actually written/edited by Miyamoto and Aonuma, so I know I'm right about that.
Thirdly, sometimes you just have to believe it when people tell you things like this. Otherwise, when you're proven wrong, you feel like an idiot. Which you will eventually.
Finally, what if someone fakes a video? That's super easy to do, trust me. Besides, why would you need to record something like that if it's already confirmed in an official book?

Aonuma was the editor of the book and writer of Hyrule Historia and Miyamoto wrote the introduction so he knew about the book too.

What evidence do you have to not believe it? Give me a logical reason as to why you can't believe it.
Why do you want a video so badly? Videos can be faked too. Why is it so hard to believe that a book that was APPROVED BY NINTENDO is telling the truth? Key words APPROVED BY NINTENDO.

Why would they feel the need to do that though? Not every creator feels like that they need to confirm something THEY wrote.
Plus did you forget the Aonuma was the editor? He is listed as the editor so even if I am wrong in that they are the writers as, editor he could remove anything he didn't like.
Plus why is it so hard to believe that the Hero's Shade is OoT/MM Link? You are a minority as many people believe that.
