You know, a few days ago, I was talking about how wonderful and crazy it is that people are actually following these crazy stories I come up with, and then that other artists take the time to create my characters as well.

The other side of that is that I get to have some fun with other peoples' characters too!

If you had told me back before I came here that I would, in the near future, be creating a comic fight scene that included two red-heads, I would have chuckled. If you had told me that those two gingers would be a Canadian ninja and an American who believes she is the reincarnation of the legendary Scottish warrior Scathach, I would have laughed my ass off! And yet, here we are!

Maple, the Canadian ninja, is the property of and I've created this little tussle as my submission to his #StarveverseJam2019 , which you can learn more about here: Announcing #StarverseJam2019!...Yeah, now seems like as good a time to mention this as any. lol So, my birthday is coming up in a little over a month (June 3rd, to be exact). Now, most people on here, when their birthday or Christmas or whatever comes up, they have a few specific requests for people to make for them, or post a wish list, or something like that. However, in looking over some of the requests/commissions/fan art I've gotten of my OCs, I realized, I really like seeing people give their own takes on my characters. So, the idea of instead doing an artjam based around my characters came to mind, but I wasn't sure if anyone would be into doing an artjam suggested by me, since I'm kinda small-time on here. To figure out whether that would fly or not, I opted for a test run, suggesting the #CarMagazineModelJam to see how well that would go over. Suffice to say, it surpassed my expectations. I had actually planned originally to make one of his other characters before I stumbled into Maple. And once I saw her, the potential for some fun mayhem was just too much to pass up!
