More of my anime art appears in this gallery:[link]
I thought that blending Rukia from "Bleach" and Selene from "Underworld" was a natural. My animeniac daughter says her breasts are too big. Okay, then it's Rukia's head on Kate Beckensale's body. Check out the ears on the shadow.

Heh, I can see what the two of you mean, outside of the arms and face, it does seem kinda off for Rukia, but I'm not going to complain too much, gotsta love a chick in leather, and I LOVE how it came out. VERY sexy and I can certainly picture Rukia in such a style~.

I also did a sculpture version of Selene as a kitty. It was sold before I got a good picture of it.

THANX.
I don't think anyone elese has done this cross-over. Soulreapers are in some ways a lot like Deathdealers.

Yeah, I haven't heard of anyone who has. It's very creative.

lol, that's where the face is from. awesome, yes, a perfect match. nice mostly mono tones, leading/guiding lines going up, so we see the whole body, and the face of course. lovely diagonals give us action. and the highlights make it sleek and tight as a drum. kudos!
your clothing design is good, not over done, but not underdone by any means. (i have problems with clothing.)
maybe give her left leg a dip like you did with her right leg. that's the only thing i think would be better. make her more... agile looking?
love the face. nice stylish design of big head, wide set eyes (not goofy), cute nose, and you say so much with such a blip of a mouth.

The method I was using at the time to transcribe the under scetch to the illustration board left the figures a little stiff looking. I don't do it that way anymore. In the anime series "Bleach" Rukia's mouth is usually no more than a single line. One can't see her lips unless they are in profile.
You may also like my Bonnie Rockwaller as Selene picture in my KP gallery. That one is a lot more dynamic.

hmmm, indeed you say. i'll have to look into those other pictures. yes.
i like that profile lip thing anime does. like in Akira, i wish they would use it more on the telepathic blue kids. especially the girl. hibbie jibbie.

I may revisit the subject but this particular picture has gotten little attention. I have another Selene crossover with Bonnie from KP in the rubber suit. It is in my "KP & Friends" gallery.

Given my sparse experience with loose rubber Halloween masks (utter sweat-buckets), I can barely begin to imagine the ordeal of wire-fu stunts in a full-body conformal sheath of the stuff. "Hellbent for (or rather, by) leather," indeed.

Hmm...now, was Rukia in her early teens when she joined the Soul Society/Shinigami? Given the AU spin here, I could easily see her getting 'turned' in her early/late 20s, hence the finely-toned physique here.
Anyhow, smokin' job on the trenchcoat/bodysuit ensemble, purposeful baby blues, oh-so-stylized...err...hairstyle (truly an anime staple), and even those practical-looking pistols.

A couple of years ago I actually created a sculpture of Selene as an anthropomorphic cat. I only took some crappy photos of it in its glass display case before it sold. It was in the process of researching this statue that I became familiar with Selene's rubber suit. I heard that Kate Beckensale was as uncomfortable in the corset as Michelle Pfieffer had been in the Burton Catwoman costume.
