There is so much Kigo fanaphenalia out there that I was surprised not to find any Kigo/Ginger Snaps crossovers.
It seemed like a natural to mix Kim Possible with the Canadian sleeper hit film series called "Ginger Snaps".
The Goth sisters Ginger and Brigette Fitzgerald actually resemble Kim and Shego respectively.
This is the first picture I have created with the Deviant Art
fan community in mind. As soon as the paint was dry I slapped it on the scanner and downloaded it straight to the site. I hope somebody out there likes it.

I posted several of these GS/KP crossovers on DA. Unfornately one of them got banned by the pinheads.
The rest are still in my KP gallery. One is hidden from the pinheads in my "Goddess & Wicca" gallery.

This is acrylic paint over Prismacolor pencil. One of the tricks i use is that I never work on a white surface. I started with deep blue illustration board as the ground.

(A lot of kigo pics seem to get banned...) But yes, I've always thought simple designs could be as great as the complicated ones. But quick question: Where could find the Ginger Snap episodes? I've never even heard of it before today...

It appears that a hand full of anti-kigo homophobes are constantly ratting out KP pictures to the DA censors. In fact one fellow on DA has gone on record proclaiming just how much he HATES the pairing. He is an obvious pyscho, as he draws romantic pictures of himself with KP! If I were to search DA for quislings. I would start with this guy.
This is a cross over. I combined KIGO with a trilogy of Goth she-wolf movies called "Ginger Snaps". All are available on DVD.

Anyways, onto your work; I've never really seen Kim Possible for I have no cable, but I have seen pictures of these two and I think you did a great job at mixing the two. There are other artists on DA whose work catches on like wild fire. My pictures tend to be like cigarette butts smouldering in a sofa cushion. They take a long time to be seen. This one seems to be a guilty pleasure to a small hard core of KP and GS fans.

Ha Ha awsome my favourite horror movei Ginger Snaps but seriously it should of been the other way around since Shego is the really evil one it should of been Shego snaps in my opinion but great drawing

Sometimes subtlety is better than dash. I had intended to do just the suggestion of spooky woods in the background. Only after I started did I decide to form the branches into the shape of a wolf's head and turn the mists into wolf shapes.
Most of my most recent images are rendered on 8"x10" panels. By cutting off these figures at the knees I was able to give porportionately greater detail to the faces than I might have with a full figure rendering.

I suppose I correctly assessed the sort of images that are popular on DA. Ginger Snaps was the first work I have done specifically targeting the fan base. It has instantly become my most popular deviation. My hope is that the original artwork will be just as popular in the real world of green paper as it is in cyberspace.
