Description
More of my KIGO pics can be seen in my KP gallery:[link]
I wasn't fully satisfied with the original look of this piece. I have retouched this image to make it more like some of the later fanworks I have done.

True...she's about 99.9% bark, and when dealing with werewolves it's bite or be bitten. Rukia may LOOK frail, but is she ever frosty when the chips are down.

That could get...interesting. The former party would be well-advised to get their paws on some form of firearm in a hurry...although if K & S were used as stand-ins, the latter brings plenty of built-in 'firepower' to the table.
...and now I'm envisioning a Goth-dyed, spandex-clad Bonnie filling Selene's spike-heels. It's a surprisingly pleasant image.

My one previous attempt at Selene is a Bleach-Rukia crossover in my "Anime" category. Bon Bon is too soft-edged for the role.

Who's that walking in these woods? Why, it's Little Red Riding Hood...and her spooky mint-hued friend...and the Big Bad Dear-God-I-Hope-It's-a-Totem Pole. Think I'll take another path.
Anyhow, as a K.P. & creature-feature buff alike, I must commend this pic-series coming and going. The retouching for this one strikes me as a success...especially your subjects' sinister little grins (Kim's pointy-toothed pout in the original looked a bit awkward), amber pupils(?) and deceptively dainty claws. Toss in the flaming fort for a backdrop and our friend in the corner, and the result is one alluringly eerie piece.
On a related tangent, the GS series was/is one of the first pieces of lycanthrope-related media in some time that truly made my skin crawl. Solid main characters, black humor, truly grotesque late/final-stage transformations...all in all, a damn sight more visceral than the action-styled offerings of Van Helsing & the Underworld series.

THANX
Mostly I ammended this one to add the animation-style holding lines. The first version went sour when I tried to skip a step and transfer from the prelim sketch free hand rather than embossing it into the illo board with a mechanical pencil. Some parallax crept in as a result of flipping between sheets in the manner of a principal animator.
I still want to put the GS girls into a tussle with Selene from "Underworld".
