The 1968 version of "Barbarella" has some of the most quotable lines in all of fantasy/SF filmdom."Decrucify the Angel!" is my favorite.
I have taken liberties with this Kigo take on Barbarella and the Great Tyrant.
A) The costumes were dreadful so I ammended them.
B) Pygar was raised on sort of a toaster rack. I have hammered him like a butterfly to the Monolith from "2001: a Space Oddyssey."
C) The position of the pistol is indicative of where Barbarella had hidden it on Pygar.
D) Anita Pallenberg as the Great Tyrant was a whiner. Shego in the same situation would stand her ground!

I did this "Barbarella" series precisely because John Phillip Law had passed away.

So it's still the movie version of Pygar, eh? I suspect Ron could only hope to be half the man John Phillip Law is.
Even though the only movie I've seen Mr. Law in all the way was Space Mutiny.

Clarification: Pygar is only pinned through the feathers. He is inconvenienced but in no pain. I do not "do" SM/BD, otherwise this pic would have come with a mature content warning.

In the movie the Tyrant wore a black feather condom that dragged the floor. This version is a bit more practical, sort of a black feather version of Poison Ivy's green leaves. Barbarella wore the white plastic outfit in a different sequence of the film. I used it because of the black/white - yin/yang theme. I also eliminated the lapels and black horizontal bands that ruined the lines of the original.
