Description In memorium to John Phillip Law who died recently.

He is the actor who portrayed Pygar the Angel in the 1968 film based on Jean-Claude Forest's graphic novel "Barbarella". The French were publishing GNs decades before anyone in America even understood the concept.

SPOILER ALERT: This depicts the final scene from the movie.

When Barbarella asks Pygar why he has saved the villainess from certain death after she had crucified him he replies: "An angel has no memory."

I have cast Kim Possible as Barbarella and Shego as the Great Tyrant.

Rose McGowan ws been cast to play Barbarella in a remake. This project went "poof" when she broke up with director Robert Redriguez.

I love Barbarella! I think the movie is in development hell, though... I haven't heard any news about it in at least a year.

I just updated my commentary on this picture.

The remake of "Barbarella" that would have stared Rose McGowan went into the trashcan when she and director Robert Rodriguez broke up last year. Sorry.

This was conceived as a one-shot, but I am tempted to do more \"Kimerellas\". Both Kim Possible and Barbarella are secret agents struggling to defend goodness.

There are so many great one-liners from the movie \"Barbarella\". Each one like \"De-crucify the Angel!\" is a springboard for an image.

Kim as Barbarella. This is really really fine.
