This is an insanely detailed sculpture I made several years ago. I started with a ceramic egg and applied gold leaf to the base. The Quetzalquatl: the feathered serpent of Aztec mythology is made of Sculpey. I applied turquoise and gold colored beads directly into the skin before it was fired. The eyes are blue beads that look like sapphires. This was yet another bizarre sculpture for which I have yet to find a buyer.

It shall remain one-of-a-kind. I could never get the price for this that would pay back the effort went into this.
