for the record , gears is bout graphics combat , so can you show us some of that ? rather than face shots of people or helicopters ?

Besides - the GAME is about that, but the comic is also about story, and that means face shots, etc.
Hope you like the art regardless though. I'm putting everything I have into it.

Well, you know, we all like different stuff. I like the rocks, the epic scope. You really have to read it in context though, otherwise you're right - it's just a bunch of rocks. But this IS an art site, and some art is about the landscape, not just guys shooting monsters!

i am aware, just saying, i love gears 2 has some issues but no major ones, at the moment. so being the gears fan i am i will go get i. just saying heli over rock pile 20 times inked and all is geting boring

I just don't agree! LOL! I like the rocks and don't think they're boring! I think there's only two heli-over-rocks pages up on here. But it's fine for you to feel that way, and I'll try and find a cool action shot to put up that isn't a spoiler...

LOL! Hey, it's fine - really. I'm just explaining comics are a bit different to digital art. You have to draw the stuff, and every day try to get it just right for the fans. It's hard! Be sure I'm giving it the best of my 20+ years as a professional!
Hope you enjoy it when you track it down, and please forgive the minor errors that may exist on the page. I hope the scope and effort makes up for that.

This is another fantastic piece from. I love the angle and depth. Great sense of style and movement. Superb use of space in the composition. The rocky structure looks gorgeous.

How you pull off perspective and depth with organic formations is a testament to your skill. I see allot of comic artists just block it out, relying on their colorist to make it pop. You made a rock jut interesting, and, lead our eye up to the crippled Heli. I also like how you nestled in that creature at it's base. Like it's an insect predator waiting for it's moment to strike.

Cheers mate. I wondered if this was a good one to show as it's so, well, spartan. But then I thought it's a good bit of narrative - a long shot, making the foreground the feature. It's not the normal crippled helicopter shot you would get generally, so I thought well, you know, it's there if people want to look and REALLY see what I was doing here.
