Description
This was an unused pin-up of Hulk and Betty. I did it as an intended farewell, once I'd been asked to leave the book - a HORRIBLE misunderstanding that still jangles today. (I've written about it many times before, so I'm not going to go into it again.) It's a shame, I think, that this was never published.L.

Lobo wears a jacket just like that, same missing sleeve too.

Well it was done at a similar time, and Biz is an old mate of mine, so well spotted on that reference! Those days we all used to make nods to each others work, so yes, this was the Hulk-as-Lobo phase. Later on he put a big green fin on his head too - Savage Dragon anybody?

I only did one pinup of Bimbo, the female Lobo with the one giant muscular arm, for a Logo gallery special. It was a lot of fun.

Man, I was sure it was Bimbo... Have to drag out my TPB.
I haven't got a copy sadly, though I signed one literally just a few days ago at the MCM expo in London. First time I'd seen it in ages!

His comics are very fun to read I've read them all including the one shots. I even got the written Last Sons novel that stars Lobo and it was great I've read through it twice and still enjoy it.

Wow he is all hulkenstien ish. Love it. And about being asked to leave the book, well that was Marvel for you. That's why Image was created. Marvel were always to jumpy back then. Seems like they've settled down a bunch with the new editor in charge. I mean in the 90's if anyone even suggested half the things they do now they would have been run out of the building.

Cheers!
