Description
This is a scene from my novel 'God Killers', where the blind priestess, Kia, comes across a one-armed Sayer. It also featured in Glenn Fabry's Anatomy for Fantasy Artists book and the Lap of The Gods book published by Mamtor and Kymera. This was painted in oils but finished digitally. Obviously it's very derivative of Frank Frazetta, but if you're going to learn from anybody, learn from the masters.
Very best,
Liam.

OO! I just spotted this in the 'Anatomy for Fantasy Artists' book I just bought and thought I recognised the name!
I really really like this, especially the woman's pose, and the angle of the trees that draws the eye up - and is that hesitancy in the beast's posture? Gorgeous!

I like the combinations of digital & traditional in this... and of course, the Frazetta influence!

Wow, I knew I'd seen this in a book somewhere. Great lighting and contrast between the dark foreground and the pastel background. Very nice work.
