Description
This is a classic barbarian piece originally created as a pitch for a Conan comic story. When that failed to materialise it was adapted to fit the Steve Niles story "F**king Savages" in the anthology "Event Horizon". It's essencially a pencil drawing coloured in photoshop, which is a technique I really enjoy, but never get enough opportunities to do more of...Cheers,

That's simply fantastic. The details are really great and probably took you a bit of time!! the coloring is as swell, I'm not surprised you enjoy it so much, I owuld, too, and I partly am just by staring at it XD Fatnastic work!

I don't think age really comes into it, or it shouldn't. One of my greatest heroes and friends, Don Lawrence, didn't really crack the industry until he was well into his 40s. I was lucky enough to start working for 2000ad 20 years ago, age 18 - but I was so green and inexperienced.
Trust me; it never feels easy, and 99% of all pros doubt their ability constantly, so don't be too tough on yourself, and keep plugging away!
