I always tell the customer "do you realize how many times I hear that a day? you are number ___ today to say that" and they usually shut up lol

side note: i actually have a list on my phone of all of the remarkably crazy/just plain stupid customers and the incidents i've had with them x3 i really like,, wanna make one of those youtube video storytime animations on them haha

ugh, totally xD where i work, you gotta stand in front of your register when there aren't any customers, so another cliche is them saying: "you waiting for me??" and i feel like it shouldn't annoy me but it's just another one of those generic customer jokes you hear every single day and i feel like they say it for some entitlement lollll
now i have more inspiration to !! but dang, animating is hard xD if i ever do get around to it, i'll share the link with you ;3

Oh dude, that's awful! That would annoy me too. I'm glad I don't have to wait by the register, but also sometimes customers walk around our registers all mad that no one's right there. But I mean, who do you think prices and folds those clothes and such that you're buying? When we close, we close, there's no one working at night to do all that haha.
