It all began this way:

She was a beautiful girl with skills for drawing and painting, so her parents sent her to work in the Emperor´s Palace as a portrayer in the Court. She was admired and traited with respect, and she felt happy because she earned enough money to keep her family away from hunger and pains.

But one day, her fame was so big that the Prince itself requested her to make a portrait of him. When he saw Victoria, he desired her, but she refused, because she was engaged to a boy she loved as her life. The Prince started to harass her everywhere and at any time, and his jealous wife noticed it. She went mad and threw Victoria to the torture chambers, saying that the portrayer had seduced the Prince and wanted to reach the Throne.

Victoria´s body was left marked with symbols of disgrace that would turn her into a pariah. Her love was executed without reason, and as if that wasn´t enough torture, the Princess herself cut her fingers out.

This was the cruelest thing they could do to Victoria. No more drawing, nor painting, nor art. No love, no life, no home.
When she got free from the torture chamber, she was left in a desert field covered in snow. Her mutilated hands bleeded, she was barely naked. The Princess wanted her to die slowly, alone, drowning into madness and despair.

Nobody knew anymore about the young portrayer.

But some months later, the Princess´s corpse was found in her bedroom, near the Prince´s. They were mutilated, their fingers and head ripped off, their whole bodies covered in blood and deep scratchs. They were only the first.

As days and nights passed by, more victims of the same scratchs and murders appeared in the Palace and the towns around. People started to talk about a misterious young woman that wore white clothes covered in blood, long and sharp fingernails in mutilated hands and marks on her face and body. She was beautiful though, they said.

Until the moonlight revealed her jewels made with the fingers ripped and stolen from her victims by the mortal edges of her umbrella, that she never closed.

Justice and revenge is served.
