The whole Bedfordshire thing is odd, seeing as most of the county is on clay instead of bedrock, and all the tunnels would collapse, unless supported by a convenient plot device. (ignore, I'll go away...)

The one from Rememberance of the Daleks was a bit of a pussy though. He could have at least rushed the Doctor and co. before self-destructing....oh well!
