I really love the alicorn's design's. Her wings remind me of Abby Sprocket's (whgoops.deviantart.com/art/Abb… ), but they're more metallic and rusty and... stuff.
The story's great so far and has that feeling of real show episode. I'm waiting for more.

If I had to name a unique unicorn with mechanical wings, I'd probably go with Mechanicorn!

Ooh, I like your design. What can I say, I'm a sucker for steampunk.
But Twilight, you should note that those wings are mechanical. There's no guarantee they were given through the proper channels. In the steampunk desert wasteland of the futurepast, anypony can make a princess with a little metal and some crafting time. And since it's a steampunk desert wasteland, mostly ponies make themselves princesses, since they don't have friends. It's very sad.
