Yup, wait and see! I'm just always suspicious when suddenly, a story seems to revolve around an OC. More often than not, the results are... unfortunate.

Well, why not, as long as it's done well, i.e. canon characters are not present just to act as sidekicks or foils to the oh-so-cool OC.

it helps if you have a few OC's because then you can split the spotlight. Not necessarily evenly, but, its something^^ Thats what I'm doing anyway for my comic.

I'm still wary! I mean, there are some stories with great Canon + OC interaction (Moonstuck & Slice of Life by egophiliac being the prime examples in my book), but most of the time, I find them to be pretty terrible...
